The emails sent to you via newsletter contain tracking pixels to know wether or not you opened the email or wether or not you clicked on a link and your location.
Data Held By Third Parties
We use MailChimp to send the newsletter email and MailChimp stores your name and email address. They hold your data indefinitely unless you want me to update your subscriber settings or delete you altogether. In which case you have to email us at email@example.com
We never store your credit card or bank information. Its up to Paypal and Stripe to do that job. These are the third party services we use in order to receive payments from you for products or services. In this situation we will maintain information about invoicing and receipts indefinitely so we can have verifiable information about your purchase and also because we need to do our taxes.
We try to keep this website and your data as secure as possible. Which is why we hand over most of the information processing to third parties like MailChimp, Paypal or Stripe because they are much better suited to do the job than we can ever be.
However, you can try as you might but there is always someone who is trying to break into things and wreak havoc. In such a case, if your information is at a serious risk of exposure we will inform you promptly.
